What it contains??
Beauveria bassiana is an entomopathogen that infects a huge variety of insects.
How does it work ??
The fungus is cultured in solid state fermentation sprayed on plants as an emulsion or a wettable powder.
For what are these suitable for ?
insects and is used to control crop infestations by aphids, thrips, and whitefly.
How should it be applied ??
Mix 10 g/ml of beauveria bassiana powder with 1 liter of water without any lumps and spray over the plants.
Beauveria bassiana prefers a humid environment.
Best to apply during late afternoon or evening and also during cloudy or rainy days.
When should it be applied ??
Always keep in mind that these are living organisms in dormant form.
so exposure to direct sunlight will kill them.
so after application, after sun is down, mulching with dry leaves or compost is a must to safeguard these till they get established and settled under the soil or inside plant cells.
