Leaf Eating Pests

Bio Pest control for leaf eating pests are mentioned below:
1) Beauveria bassiana:
This fungus grows on the leaf and pod eating caterpillars and kills them. This is very useful for
all our crops which get attacked by insects, moth larvae. Wooly caterpillars , cutworms
2) Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt):
This is a natural occurring, soil-borne bacteria that has been used for natural insect control for
many years. It consists of a spore of a bacteria.
Insects which bite and chew plant parts and
consume it, a toxic crystal is released and the insects dies by poisoning.
These work effectively and can be sprayed once a week if there is very bad infestation.
Or once a month when there is mild attack.
Always spray 20 gm in one ltr water in the evening. Both on top and bottom of the leaves.
